I like this quilt, Shirley.  It reminds me of the one my father's neighbor made.  Beautiful and very colorful.

Hello Shirley - I think your quilt is great. Are you a quilter? (Ceil)

Hi Shirley, There is something about quilts that I love.  Particularly this one with all the beautiful colors.  This is great photo!

Hi Jane, No I didn't make it.  I might be able to start one but I would never finish it... I know myself well! LOL

Hi C&C, No I'm not a quilter and I didn't even see this one in person.  I just thought the photo was pretty.  It's from the website of my hometown area's online newspaper.  They had a community fair and I was looking at the photos.

Hi Mary,  I love quilt, too... especially the hand-made ones.

This is so pretty, and it makes me wish I had actually finished some of those quilting projects I started long ago.

How pretty! Is that the log cabin pattern? Not that I know much about quilt patterns...

I bought 6 raffle tickets to win a quilt.  Wish me luck.  The drawing is in February.

My wife is a quilter. She takes trips with the girls on some weekends for something called a 'quilt run'. I think its just time for the girls to get away, but they do come back with material.

Shirley,

I made a quilt for my niece, it took forever and was not as pretty as this one.

My last 2 were Christmas theme and I kept one for myself.  Now when I bring it out in the fall, it is so worth it.  Drape it over the back of my couch every fall & find myself using it often when the weather gets cooler.

It's nice to say, "Yes, I made that".

The house and the landscaping leads me to believe that the quilt is somewhere out in the boondocks.

LOL Russel, You are right... if you drove 4 hours north of Houston, you would find this very small town.  I like the rustic look of the photo.

Melissa, I am not very good about finishing sewing projects. :o(

Thanks, Crystal!

Hi John, Sometimes it's good for girls to get away. :o)

TYVM, VB!

I did have a good weekend, Robin.  Thanks.

I like that too, Mike.

Hi Dale, Maybe we will soon have some weather that will call for an extra quilt.

Don't forget about the drawing Angelia.  I hope you win.

Thanks, Christopher and Stephanie.

Thanks Greg!

Hi Debi, I don't know about the pattern....

Hi Ann, The same for me.  LOL.

Shirley,

Sewing projects are so much more fun to start, rather than finish, I agree!
