While the Cat's Away............

By
Real Estate Agent with Select Real Estate

Well. Folks, the cat (husband) is away for two weeks on a consulting assignment so I've lined up a few projects to keep me busy.  Yesterday, I cleaned up the lanai furniture and today was the garage.  My gosh!  How much stuff we've accumulated in the 5 years we've been here.   The next few days, I'll be busy painting the garage walls and putting all I've gathered out for the garbage man.  He's going to LOVE me!!!  And, wait until the hubby gets back.  Boy, is he going to be surprised.

Real Estate has kept me busy as well.  On Friday, we had a "pitch" session with other area realtors.  A "pitch" session is set up by sponsors (Third Federal Bank, among others) in the offices of our local Real Estate Board.  These are usually held every two weeks in season and once a month in the summer.  To start off the new season coming up, it was decided to have the September pitch session in an area community, preferrably in a listing of one of the participating realtors.  I volunteered my listing in Wildcat Run Golf & Country Club.  There were 15 realtors participating, refreshments were provided as well as "give-aways".  Best of all, we realtors held open houses so we could all see the lovely homes on large lots in this community.

The listing is a superior 2,938 sf home with large lanai, pool and spa.  It is being sold "turnkey" and has a Lincoln Towncar and Golfcart in the garage that are negotiable.  Picture yourself on the large lanai with a cool beverage and overlooking the golf course, large pond and preserve area.  It's the SW Florida lifestyle like none other.

Well, it was a great day on Friday and interesting to meet new members of the real estate family as well as seeing some lovely homes.  We hope to do this again next month and then season starts.  Let the season begin!!  We're ready.

Have a beautiful day!

Be careful with that painting and getting on ladders. All the best.
