In Real Estate Do Not Take Them for Granted! Take of a Real Estate Agent in Cookeville, TN

By
Real Estate Agent with First Realty Company

Like many other realtors, I rely to a large part in my business on personal connections, referrals from previous clients, family and friends.  As the circle of clients grows, many realtors find it hard to keep in touch with all of those in the circle of former clients and potential leads.  This could be the biggest mistake a realtor can do whether in Cookeville, Tennessee or Orlando Florida.  It is crucial to stay in touch.  The out of sight out of mind holds very true in the real estate business.  I find it useful to keep those cards and emails flowing reminding my clients of what their business meant and continues to mean for me. Facebook proved a very useful tool that keeps me socially and professionally connected.  If you do not have a facebook account, I advice you to sign up for one today.  One important thing to add is the importance for me and all realtors to remind family and friends that their business is very much appreciated and that they are not taken for granted.

No one should be taken for granted in a business like real estate where the personal connection is core and an essential element of what we add as real estate professionals!

Very true Reham!  I was just looking for a way to reach out to all of my friends that I have lost touch with over the years, including some that I talk to several times a week....that seem to forget what we do for a living.  I have an email that I send out every so often thanking them for their referrals and remind them to think of me when they hear of a friend or co-worker needing an agent.

I know we don't want to "bother" our friends with our business, but it's okay as long as we don't push it.  I hope business if good for you!
