Hello Joan,

This is truly a beautiful time in New England, especially NH. I love the fall but don't really like what is around the next corner ! The apples, the cider, the foliage are a wonderful part of fall.

PS....I see you still up in second place so "good job" keep it up.  I'm you cheerleader for sure.

Patricia

Joan our trees are no where near that color yet, but they will be before to long.  The Fall is one of the most beautivul times of the year in New England.

Patricia ~  I am with you... keep fall going for a very long time.  I am not ready for that white stuff yet!  As a matter of fact, after last year, about 2 weeks of snow at christmas would be fine with me!  I'm still pooped from last winter's ice storm and the massive cleanup int he spring.

George ~ I am sure you are not that far behind.  All of New England is supposed to have a beautiful fall!

Hi Joan, Gorgeous photos and I love all the fall colors. When I have seen  vistas of upcoming fall in the great forests, I always think of that wonderful song by Bette Midler, "From a Distance" . It has nothing whatever to do with Fall, but it is always comes into my head anyway,:-) I am huming it now.

Kat ~  It certainly is breath taking... and fall is so beautiful.  Nashua is not as colorful yet... but in another week, I think we will be in living color.

William ~ Wish I had your camera skills and talent.  I could really capture the colors much better.  And, yes, I can see why the title "from a distance" would come to mind.

Joan, It doesn't look anything like that yet...here!  Goodness, it's certainly coming.  Talk about a dose of reality :)

Jennifer ~  Although the leaves are already turning, the weather has not been too cold!  The colors are due to all that rain we had (instead of summer).  I am going to enjoy the colors.. there will be way too much white after this.

Bill ~  Yes, NH is ALWAYS ahead of MA (lol)!  It is not yet as colorful in the Nashua area, but the surrounding towns are quite colorful.

Carole ~ This certainly is a dose of reality... and I am hoping we have a very LONG fall.  I am not ready to deal with snow and ice.

Joan, I love the fall of the year.  My favorite season.  Such beautiful colors.. drab trees often become the most colorful in the fall.  Nice photo.

Joan, what a gorgeous photo! I was in New Hampshire briefly to visit my sister two weeks ago but the foliage hadn't turned yet. I do miss the leaves!

Toula ~  I am sure that you will have a beautiful fall in New Jersey.. You will have to post some pictures from your part of the world.

Debbie ~  You will just have to visit again.. it will be about another week or so before we are at peak in Nashua.  We are expecting some beautiful colors.

Joan, what a gorgeous picture! Reminds me of our mountains in the fall! I hate leaving NC in the fall but N. Hampshire could make me think twice about that!
