I just completed a 101 post series. In fact, I wrapped it up just about an hour ago. I have been working on it for almost a year... When I started, I was going to "dribble" the posts at random times, but I figured out after a few weeks that I needed to schedule the posts. After that, they were mostly posted on Wednesdays and Sundays. In fact, for the last nine months or so, I have been posting these on LaneBailey.com every Wednesday and Sunday... I haven't had to think very hard about what to post on those days, because I had the list.
I have already come up with a few ideas for new series to begin in the next few weeks...
I've got a 27 ford model T. They are pretty different to drive. Have you looked inside one. There are 3 peddles on the floor, the gas and stator are on the column. The far left peddle all the way down is 1st, half way up is neutral, all the way up high gear. Then the middle peddle is reverse. The far right peddle is the brake. My T has the upgraded "rocky mountain brakes" so I can actually lock up the brakes.
I drive it on Tuesdays brokers tour sometimes and I think once or twice to show property. I don't leave town with it as top speed is about 38.
There are model T clubs everywhere so try and find a club and somebody is apt to give you a lesson.

You truly are a car guy! I am one also but have my hobby on pause until this economy turns. My 1966 GTO is currently for sale.
