The Walkway over the Hudson - Grand Opening this Weekend

Just a few days remaining before the grand opening of the walkway over the Hudson River. With the festivity will come traffic problems, so the organizers have put in place plans to alleviate some of the issues; click here for information on transportation and parking.

There will be many activities but at 3 pm on Saturday October 3rd the walkway will be open to the general public.

The walkway over the Hudson River I know will be well used and just in time to enjoy the wonderful fall foliage that is expected on the banks of the Hudson River.

This year there has been many events related to the quadracentennial celebration and this is just one more.

I'm not familiar with the positioning of the Hudson River in NY. Where does it lead? What's on the other side? (Yes. I'm really this curious. lol)

Mid Hudson Valley real estate connection

The Hudson runs from NYC area all the way Upstate NY. The Walkway over the Hudson is in Poughkeepsie which is in Dutchess County. The other side of the Walkway will end up in Highland which is in Ulster County.

Steve I think not only will it be fun it will be scenic. Okay how did you know I have an issue with heights? but I am going to give it a try.
