Cool car in San Diego

Well it was hard to pass this car by without stopping to snap a photo. Too bad my location and the time I had (because of traffic) did not allow me to get the entire thing into the photo. But you get the idea.

I would have loved to have seen the person who was driving this car. Pretty snazzy, huh? Just another part of life here in San Diego, California.

Great, eye-catching color. Classic brown, too.  But its the wheels, man.....the star-touched wheels.  They're even better than the green.

Jeff, I wonder if this one goes up and down as well?  It looks like it can!  The owner is clearly very proud of his car. Great shot!

Jeff, the last time I was in LA, I was amazed at the number of old cars that looked totally cherry.  Love this one!

Jeff - Distinctive shade of green! Thought this must be NYC, with the double parking.

Diane - not sure. It loks like it could, as you say.

Pat - well LA is probably the car capital of the US if not the world. Just about every kind of car you can imagine. Becuase of the weather you tend to see more of the classics, like original Beetles and VW busses. But it also a place where you will see more high end cars than you can imagine - and lots of new ones. I believe the stats are that there are more cars than people in LA.

Karen - actually it WAS in a parking lot although it looks like the street. And, yes, that WOULD be more typical of NYC.

Not your granny's car is it!  I think these kind of cars make driving a little less boring!

Love the shot Jeff. I especially love the roof-rack - totally out of context. It is amazing what you see if you just keep your eyes open as you drive around. Here is a car I caught on camera around the corner from my old apartment in London. I still don't know what it was - just that heads would turn.

Konnie - yep, it was quite a sight

Hannah - I can't argue with that

Tom - true enough. That's why I said it. :)

Trey - well if you want to capture people's attention it works.

Susie - yep, Eldorado it is. A convertible would be REALLY over the top, so to speak.

Simon - cool car. But I have no idea either. What an eye-catcher.
