So we have started out on our own with no franchise, as an independent. I like to think of us a franchise that just only has one location. I have had to design new signs for our listings and open houses etc. I liked my design and thought they looked good and would stick out against both greenery and snow. So I decided to go a little cheap on my panels I mean paying for expensive ones when we may be changing the look etc who knows what to do. I am pleased with the coroplast but I think it will be a bit too see through in the sun. The next item I am going to do is send my ideas to a logo/design studio and have them make up camera ready art work and proofs etc for me so I can use a consistent look and theme through out. I am still having fun and I received another referral today.
Good luck to you. It sounds like you have a plan and are building a sturdy branding foundation for your business.
Eric,
I wish you all the best with your new brokerage. I work for an independent agency and love it!
Go Eric, enjoy the journey. Write it down so you can fine tune and enjoy the growth...
Thank-you for making me think this Monday,
Paul
I have always found this process to be a work in progress...when creating your new look it is most important to stand apart from other Realtor companies. If they use red or blue then use a distinguished color that identifies you. I have added lady bugs to my marketing pieces, signage, business cards, website, etc. When people see my stuff, they know it is me immediately. Good luck with your new tasks and goals.
Eric I fully understand your plight. After several attempts and market research this is our latest run. I have received great feedback. It took 4 try's. Good luck.
Eric:
From one independent to another good luck. The best advice that I could give you is have a great business plan and stick to it. Enjoy the process.
