As some of you know, I have a talk radio show that airs every Saturday here in Southern California (KTIE 590-AM) called "Real Estate Matters with Laurel Starks."

This week, I will have DRE Commissioner, Jeff Davi, on the show for the 1/2 hour, and I am preparing questions to send to him today.  I would love your help and input as to what questions YOU have about anything real estate.

I plan to ask him about the market forecast, what the DRE is/can do about the banks' handling of short sales and loan mods, current legislation, loan mod scams, and the supposed "flood" of REO's that we've been hearing are imminent - all year long.

Please comment to this post and let me know what you think!

Current Legislation:  Not sure of the bill number but what about taking control of escrow and title away from the banks - supposedly it is on Arnolds desk.

I disagree with the bill - right now the escrow companies that are involved know what they are doing and get the job done well. If we break this system then we have a whole new learning curve as new offices 'figure it out'.
