This condo had just been painted and was ready to be staged according to the owner when I spoke with him on the phone. Imagine his surprise when I told him the new paint job was in vain.

What was this...      Green living room

Became this...        Staged Living Room

This condo received multiple offers 2 days after being staged, and sold for well above the asking price.

What a great job Jackson!

You abviously have a great reputation to get places sold, to convince your client to repaint! Thanks for the pictures.

The staging looks fabulous. Neutral sells, and mint green makes the buyers a little green in the face.

Also wanted to say I love Vancouver - might just be my favorite city (better than San Francisco, Chicago, etc. etc.) and I love the name of your company.

Thanks gals for commenting on my blog. I just finished another one in the same building and it was even smaller! $400.000 doesn't buy much square footage in this city.

Rachel, Your website is awesome!!! Funky layout, and great before and after shots.

Jackson, job well done. I love looking at before and after photos. It just never ceases to amaze me how many interior photos I see of properties where the toilet seat is up! I would say 9 out of 10. People don't realize how much of a difference it makes in a photo to PUT THAT SEAT DOWN!

Jackson! Excellent work here... don't ya just love contemporary.  I did one a couple of weeks ago that also sold quickly.  Maybe this is the trend.  I have another one coming up soon... I wish I could fly you out to Stage it with me :)  Keep up the fab work.

Jackson, this is comment #45, you are loved in the Rain :)

Beautiful transformation, the seller must be smiling all the way to the bank. Great job!

Thank goodness the seller listened to you!  I had a seller contact me just after he'd finished painting the interior a day-glo yellow, stating that it was all set to stage.  Even though I gently told the owner a more neutral color was necessary for such a small place (it was about 600 sq ft!), he was offended. Oh well, you win some and you lose some...I think his place was on the market for a long time!

Beautiful work Jackson!  You took away the green, but gave it right back to the sellers $$$

Jackson - This is an amazing transformation and a great testament to your staging work.  This is also a great example of where I think before photo's are key and important.  It would be impossible to communicate this transformation with words alone, the photo's are essential to "tell the story".  Bravo on the staging and the post.

Jackson,

It still amazes me what homeowners are thinking when they decide to paint their house. I have seen some horrible wall color in my career, but this one might be the icing on the cake. Why can't they learn to ask a proffessional before spending money? You did a great job on this house.

Jackson,
I'm a sucker for brown bathrooms too. I always seem to end up with brown somewhere. I also really like the towels you displayed on a diagonal. Very pleasing to the eye!
