So you think blogging is hard? You think making phone calls is hard? You don't have the energy to go door-to-door to meet people or to invite neighbors to open houses? Or it's just too scary?
What if this was your job?
Or maybe this was your way to get to work?
You have been told by most regular bloggers here that they didn't know if they could be good bloggers either, but they just kept at it anyway, picking up tips and learning as they posted.
You don't believe that practicing a skill can make you better? What if these girls thought that?

Susan: In choosing to bypass the point of your post, but just focus on your second picture... it seems that public transportation IS catching on in some areas. What a gas-saver... huh ?
I think that one of the main problems for folks who are trying to "become" bloggers... is that... in addition to becoming bloggers... they are trying to become something they're NOT. Sure... the technique of blogging is something that can gradually be picked up... whether you have a talent for writing or not. But I think one very important part of blogging... is just learning to relax enough to share yourself and your ideas with those who read your posts. Facility in blogging will gradually improve... but simply being yourself... is key.
Hi Karen - You are so right! I have been told that some of the regular readers of my blog like the fact that I have regularly shared about my cats, my travels, and other things that I enjoy, as well as articles about real estate. I hope my readers get to know me a bit and don't just feel that I am pontificating about stuff!
Good analogy, Susan. Blogging looks intimidating at first, but once you start and people actually start reading your blogs and commenting on them it becomes easier.
Susan, I agree that you just have to jump in and do it. Now for the video...wow! I sure never want to hear "I can't" or "I'm afraid" from anyone I know...least of all myself! BTW-I do feel like that guy in the top picture a lot.
I have found that I really enjoy blogging. It was difficult in the begin partly because I was learn the tools and trying to develop my voice. Part of it is finding a topic that you are passionate about and enjoy, this makes blogging much more fun and easier.
Susan, this is a great reminder to us all. Life is hard work, and here in the U.S. many of us have it much easier than elsewhere. Congrats on your 100,000 by the way!
