The linked post drew excellent comments from other Rainers. The entire thread has become valuable material for the BRAIN use of readers -- to learn how to apply the knowledge.
Anyone can read the material, learn from it and come to decision time. Now the reader can
just copy/paste the whole darn thing?
just copy/paste the content which reader is sure reader would have thought of if Lenn hadn't. Reader was probably thinking of it when or before she wrote it.
just copy/paste the content because now that Lenn has thought of it, Reader won't have to.
And with any of the above, risk cost to both the Reader and Lenn Google Attention due to duplicate content
Look like a dipsy doodle to other people who READ.
OR the dipsy doodle can write about how the information was useful (unique content starts here) and admirable. Did you know, Dipsy Doodle that only 50 words are required on an AR post to get you past GO and earn 200 points?
Then link to LENN and the Post. That is nice; gives her some deserved acknowledgment and strokes the system to mutual benefit because Google "hearts" those useful links.
Then, maybe email Lenn that the post is coming because the dipsy doodle is a long time fan and has learned so very much from Lenn's posts. -- Instead of having to keep the hat pulled down over the dipsy eyes and hope she doesn't find you.
Now, the dipsy doodle has donned a HERO cape and is no longer hiding out in a telephone booth, but a qualified member of a network set up to benefit and market the members. The HERO can sleep nights.
If a HERO were going to copy me (none ever do, copyscape says) I would be sure that a HERO would copy to our mutual benefit. Let me know and I will come and comment. And since you are a HERO, I"m sure there are other members who want to associate with you (not so with dipsy doodles) and will maybe comment positively on both of us.
