I love to travel.  I love stairs.  Put the two together and there you have it…  I try to get to the top as often as I can!

Here are some remarkable shots I took in various places visited.  Why don’t you test your knowledge and see if you can guess the location and the edifice where each picture was taken.   Test your answers by clicking on each picture; it will take you to the exact place where that vantage point was captured.

Happy Trails!

Life’s short.  Live it well!  Travel often!

I think I've allowed my imagination to roam for too long.  What started as a minuscule project turned into a mega blog (I hope you ran your mouse over the pictures to find the location and also click on each picture to see the links).

It's late and I'm tired, but I'll try to come back here and post some more pictures and links.   It was so much fun to take this trip down memory lane.  I needed it!  (can you say:  stressssssssssssssssssssss??? at work).

In the meantime, could you please, please, please:

Submit your own pictures of views from the top.  We all need a change of pace and a new vantage point...

Wow Mirela. Some beautiful pictures. You should put captions on them so that I can take my wife to these places.

Mark:  The captions are already there:  Just stop your mouse over each picture & find the exact place the picture was taken.  You can also click on each picture and it will take you to a site explaining where that particular picture was taken.

Thank you Mary!  Doing well, but working too hard.  I am re-thinking the business and my life.  Perhaps I should become a travel writer & photographer...

Seems like no matter where you go in the world there's always a place with a lot of stairs to climb. Great photos.

I have been to a few of them!

I climbed to the top of the Domo in Florence, quite a work out, but the view was worth it!

Your photos are spectacular and I'm sure your memories of these beautiful places are too. You must have been up pretty high to get these shots and I'm feeling a little dizzy now.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments!

I loved putting this blog together!  I re-traced my traveling paths and had a wonderful imaginary sojourn.  It kept me up a bit too late though...

I'm glad you enjoyed it!  I hope you clicked on each picture, in order to garner more info on each place.

I hope you'll travel!

I am due for a vacation in December.  Ahoy!  ...I feel a cruise coming on...
