Yes it's time to reveal the photo answer to my last Name That Photo posting.  I don't really need to reveal the answer, as it was guessed by many smart people.  I only have to post the reveal photos.

I zoomed in on the base of Tews Falls in Dundas, Ontario to take the photo.  There is a great hiking trail between Tews Falls and Webster's Falls (see a previous post for photos)  I recently found out that Hamilton, Ontario is the Waterfall Capital of The World due to the number of different types of falls in the area.  Dundas lies just on the outskirts of Hamilton about a half hour drive from my home.

I am now on a mission to check out many of the other waterfalls in the area.  Next on my agenda, when I get a chance will be the Devil's Punchbowl.

That's quite beautiful, Jenny.  I knew Hamilton had lots of waterfalls, but I had no idea it has THAT many.  I should get out there, one of these days.  I love water - of any kind.  Salt water would be better, but I'll settle for anything, at this point ... and hopefully before it freezes. :)

That is so beautiful.  Does it get cold enough there to freeze and make icicles.  Obviously I'm showing my waterfall ignorance here.

Beautiful falls Jenny!  I missed the guessing part, but I'm so glad I didn't miss the reveal.

Not Niagara, huh?  Pretty hard to guess.  What's the green and purple rock?  Do they look as colorful when they are not wet?

We have lots of waterfalls here, too.  I love 'em.

Hamilton / Dundas really ought to let people know that they have waterfalls.  I never knew until know.  Everyone in the Toronto area simply drives by or through Hamilton and Dundas on the way to Niagara Falls.

Funny Carla - Is there really a falls in Wichita???

Hi Sylive - I love water also.  Could you guess??  I saw some photos of these falls in the winter and they were frozen.  I must make a trek back there in Janary. (assuming it will be cold enough to freeze by then)

Hi Dedra, in the past they have indeed frozen.  I will report back to you in a few months.  I had no idea these waterfalls were located so close to where I live.

Hi Mary, I'm glad you are here for the reveal also.  I'm always happy to see your happy face.

Hi Rick - Me either.  I wonder what there is up your way that you don't know about?

Hi Lana - You are doing a good job building up a following.  There is so much to learn here, it can sometimes become overwhelming.

Thanks David - You are  doing a great job as a new blogger here on AR.  Your posts are varied and very informative.  Keep blogging.

Thanks C Team - I love sharing with you guys as you are always so kind to come by and comment.

Haha Debra - You aren't going to believe this but I've been looking for a turtle to photograph since the summer.  I'd stop by the side of the road in some marshy areas looking for some.  There used to be some big guys on Otter Lake where my inlaws live but no luck finding any this year.  If I saw turtle road kill I promise you, I wouldn't take any photos.  Not that desperate lol.

Hi Jim,

Nope not Niagara.  Did that post back in August.  I think the purple and green rock was just that.  Probably moss.  It was a LONG way down and I didn't see anyway to get down there.

Who knew, eh Marc?  You are right, everyone heads for Niagara.  These are nowhere as big but not as touristy either.  Nice and quiet, great for an afternoon hike.

Hi Betina, I've never been to Costa Rica.  I have a past colleague who built a home there and spends the winter there and the summer at her home in Niagara on the Lake.  Not a bad lifestyle.

Hi Fred, you are always right on the button.  Just like with the old car awhile back.  I knew you could help me with that one. Enjoy the weekend.
