Peter's Rock Grand Opening

The Grand Opening of the Peter's Rock Park was held on Saturday,June 16. The entrance of the park is located at 133 Middletown Avenue next to First Fuel Gas station, in the Montowese Section of North Haven.

After a short dedication ceremony, the flag was raise on the flag pole savaged from the old North Haven High School

There is a newly constructed pavilion at the entrance to the park, with picnic tables where everyone enjoyed the refreshments provided by many local businesses. Guided tours were given to the top of Peter's Rock.

Thesa Thank you for the compliment. It is a great place for hiking, walking your dog and now that they have added the picnic tables, it's a wonderful area to have lunch.

Dan I don't think so.

Sandra, I like your response to Dan.........LOL I can really relate to that. Though this does seem like a great spot to stop at on a Sunday afternoon after Church.
