Beautiful Jenny,  Almost hard to tell where the lake ends and the sky begins!  It looks very peaceful there, on lovely Lake Ontario.

It is so peaceful out there.  I drove Liz by the area when we were passing through Oakville, on the way back to Toronto, but it was way too fast.  I'll have to take her to have coffee with Jenny, next time she's in town. :)

Jenny - Great pictures!  The lonely bench at waters edges seems to be saying, "Too late this year, but just wait until next Summer."

Jenny,

Again, nice collection of shots. I like the coloring in the top one and the swans(?) going in opposite directions. :)

Hi Mary - I never tire of going down to the harbour just to watch the ducks, boats, skyline, etc.  Very peaceful

Hi Rita- Yes, those two guys were going their separate ways lol.  Just barely got them both in the photo.

Hi Liz - Yes, you know how I love my benches like you.  There is no shortage of them here in Oakville.

Hi David- Yes, you've got that right. I had an hour to spare so couldn't think of a better place to take my coffee and bagel and go for a little walk.

Hi Ralph - O.K. I had to go and look up negative ions. Now I get it lol.

Thanks C Team - The horizon was what really caught my eye that day.

Lol Jim- Well I saw a LOT of "missile launchers" in Michigan on my road trip this summer.  Should I be scared?

Hi Charles, yes it's worth another visit. Your dollar is still worth a few cents more than ours but we are closing in.  It's getting chilly now though so I'd advise a summer visit lol.

Hi Marc - the light beacon on my blog page is at Bronte harbour on the west end of Oakville. The one above is downtown in the harbour.

Hi Yvette and Dennis - It really is a great place to relax.  We used to bring the kids down in the summer after picking up ice cream sundaes at McDonalds. That McDonalds was torn down a few years ago to make room for expensive townhomes.

Hi Sylvie - that's great that you were able to stop by with Liz.  Maybe I was down there taking photos lol.  Wouldn't that have been strange?

Hi Fred - You are correct.  My camera is usually in my purse or on the front seat of my car.  I've even been known to snap photos from out my car window.  I sometimes wonder if people think I'm crazy.

Thanks for your kind words Cheron - I never tire of the beauty of the lake.

Thanks Caron - you are so right.  For years I took living by the lake for granted.  Now I love to visit and catch the ducks in action.

Hi Heather - Yes indeed this is where I live.  We are a half hour from the big city of Toronto if ever we need a sports or entertainment fix.

Thanks Myrl - That is a huge compliment coming from the Grand Dame of AR Photography.  Not quite the ocean like you show us but my own little body of water.

Thanks Steve - I love the color blue so I am never disappointed with taking the lake and sky shots.

Hey Al & Peg, Guess you are on the road to Myrtle Beach now. I didn't have time to rest on that bench.  I had to go sell 50-50 tickets at a Condo Seminar.

Thanks Connie Lou - I was up on a hill so I was able to get a different angle.

Hi Teral - Yes, it's not a bad place to hang out lol.  Even in winter time it's soothing.

Hi Bob, I'm honored once again to be featured in one of your groups.  You are a sweetheart.
