Ok, this is part 2 of the greatest night of my little 5 year old daughter’s life, read about the fun part of the circus here. But, I do have to say for me, the night almost didn’t happen and this is my rant. I can tell you, whoever you were, that if those doors hadn’t opened and my wife hadn’t pulled me inside, I would have gone to jail that night!
This is the rant part of the fun night and I will tell you that I’m not a violent person, but I was about to become one if it wasn’t for my wife.The circus is a time of fun for kids, all they know is the lights, the clowns, and that it is a show put on for them!
But, some people would prefer to not see the circus exist as they feel the animals are abused. I can understand that point of view and I have no problem with you feeling that way. I actually had never about such abuse prior to buying those tickets. I would think that once someone found out, the media would have a hey day withit. However I still was going to go as it was for the kids and I can’t get a refund, so the money is already in their pocket, I might as well enjoy the show.
But, here is where you “Mr. P.E.T.A.” member crossed the line and really almost got yourself put in the hospital and I put in jail. You see, if you have an opinion about something, or want to get a point across about the abuse to animals at a show such as the circus, then fine, pull me aside, tell me the atrocities that go on behind the circus, but don’t you ever, and I mean ever, tell my kids how the animals are abused!
My eleven year old daughter was standing their with her eyes wide open trying to figure out what this guy was talking about to her when I jumped in and started to go in to a rage about showing pictures to my daughter. (Lucky for him, she didn’t see them.) But, at the same time they opened the doors, just as I was getting in this guys face and about to lay him out when my wife pulled me into the doors for the Rose Garden and she did have to pull, because I didn’t want to go in. I wanted let this guy have it!
She pointed out that the kids wouldn’t enjoy the night and he would win if I was in jail for doing what she knew I was about to do to him. So, to P.E.T.A. and other groups like this, tell your opinions to me, show me all the material and pictures you want, but you stay away from my kids!
This will never get me to listen to your opinion andto be honest it made me want to buy tickets for every show they had just to support the circus because of the way you acted that night. You really ought to be ashamed of yourself, and just maybe, you need to rethink how you approach a family if you have a different opinion than them.
