Welcome to 15605 East 94th Street North in Paradise Valley, Owasso, Oklahoma!
MLS # 926579

The famous Will Rogers once said, "Buy land. They ain't making any more of the stuff." And was he ever right! It seems like new houses are begin built much closer together and yards much smaller these days. And how about those tiny bedrooms! But not at 15605 East 94th Street North in Paradise Valley, Owasso, Oklahoma! This wonderful home offers 2.5 acres of land and a nicely updated 2233 Square foot, four bedroom home.
The home was built in 1977, has two stories and is ready for your family. Updates include new interior trim and doors, new interior paint throughout, new hand rubbed oiled bronzed light fixtures, vents in the ceiling, bathroom makeovers, new ceiling fans, a new front door, piering and a new gameroom.
You'll love the Tuscan style finish in the dining area as well as the fresh, new show quality that the home now features. You'll also love the wonderful 2 ½ acre lot where you can relax, play with the family, take an afternoon nap in your hammock that swings between the large, mature trees or even enjoy your horses. Yes, that's right, you can have horses in the Paradise Valley neighborhood.
The Paradise Valley subdivision in Owasso was begun in 1975 by Charlie Leek who was a builder and the developer at the time. Originally, the land was used for fields to grow hay and soybeans. And there was plenty of property to be had at the time. The only businesses located east of highway 169 in Owasso were the Ken's pizza and the Chevrolet dealership.
So Charlie and Dean Foster worked together and eventually there were 51 homes built in the neighborhood. Lot prices ran $7500.00 for a 1 ¼ acre lot and $9000.00 for a 2 acre lot. The covenants called for a minimum of 1500 Square foot homes to be built. Believe it or not, the covenants are still in effect in the Paradise Valley neighborhood. That's because the home owners want to help people protect the value of their property.
If you are considering moving to Paradise Valley, your utilities will be served by Limestone Fire Department, the Roger's County Sheriff, Verdigris Valley Electrical Coop and Oklahoma Natural Gas.
Although there are no amenities in the Paradise Valley neighborhood such as a neighborhood park or pool, neither are there homeowners dues. However, the homowners don't mind. That's because they enjoy the size of the lots, the mature trees, the Roger's county location, the privacy and the large homes.
And speaking of the homes, you won't find better built properties for their age. Most have 2 x 10 framing in the attic with 2 x 8 roof rafters. I found this out from Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Stephens who live in the neighborhood and who were willing to sit down and fill me in on the Paradise Valley community. They, along with approximately ten other families are original owners who still live in the homes they built. Mr. and Mrs. Stephens were also gracious enough to give me a copy of the original Certificate of Dedication. It indicates that Char-Lou Homes was the sole owner and developer of the Paradise Valley Subdivision. They also gave me a layout of the neighborhood.
Now that you know about the neighborhood, let's take a further look at this wonderful home.
Here's a view from the front showing the beautiful landscaping, curb appeal and mature trees.

This is one of the two living areas located on the first floor. Notice the beautiful new crown molding and contemporary fresh paint color.

This second living area is located off the main entry and features the wood burning fireplace with the beautiful new mantle, new crown molding and contemporary paint color also.

The dining area is located off of the kitchen. It features a window view of the large backyard, freshly finished Tuscan style walls, new window blinds, ceramic tile and a new hand rubbed oiled bronzed light fixture.

The large kitchen offers lots of cabinets for storage, a double oven, ceramic tile and a new Maytag Gold Star microwave oven. You'll love looking out on your acreage from the kitchen windows!

The master bedroom has new crown molding and has been freshly painted also. You'll enjoy the spaciousness of the room.

Who doesn't love a clean and new bathroom? This master bathroom has been completely updated and is beautiful!

Here's a look at the other bedrooms. You can see they're all large, with plenty of space for beds, toys, furniture or whatever else you might want to put in the rooms. The gameroom is the newest addition to the home.

How about one more look at the property to show how much space you're getting?

And finally, remember that song about a hammock in the shade? You can make it a reality when you own 2 1/2 acres! In fact, these homeowners did just that!

Now, that you've seen the still pictures, how about a quick tour of this great property?
