Recently, I took a class put on by Servpro in Omaha.  The class is designed to give Omaha Real Estate agents a better understanding of mold and how Servpro remediates it from homes.  By no means is the class intended to make agents mold experts, that's the job of industrial hygienists' and Servpro in Omaha. 

Some interest highlights or points of the class:

Mold is a fungus.  Most molds are derived from decomposing organic matter.  Not all molds are toxic and people react differently to different types of mold.

 The number one cause of water in the house is broken washer supply hoses.

Number two was broken refrigerator water lines.

One question posed to the class.  Do you have Mold coverage or pollution coverage under your homeowner's policy?  Well, I am not sure if I do or not.  I better call my agent this morning.
