I have lived Cromwell CT for many years, and it is a realitively small town to todays communities in Connecticut.  When it comes to home repair we would have to travel ½ hour to get to the nearest commerical home improvement store.  There is a Lowes and Home Depot in Newington, and a Home Depot in Middletown, CT.  For me it is 6 of one half dozen of another to get to.

I've noticed construction going on...and I've been watching and waiting as a new Lowes is opening up right here in Cromwell.  The grand opening (preview) is tonight, Thursday, October 1st from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

So now for all those special projects, and needs for those home improvement, and if you live in Cromwell, CT....LOWES IS HERE!!!   

Thank goodness... not only is it now convenient, but they have hired local people for a lot of the positions.  Bet the news didn't cover this upside to the economy.  Also, it will give the residents of town a tax break.... and we get to save on gas. :)
