First Time Homebuyers Seminar

By
Real Estate Agent with Titan Real Estate
Does anybody have an agenda for a First time Homebuyers seminar?  I'm planning on starting them next month, but I'm not organized in the information I need to get across to the prospective homebuyers.

Angie,

i do FTHB seminars. Typically you want to have a lender and a Realtor do this in conjunction and it helps to split the costs.

Typically you cover credit, loan types, how to pick a neighborhood and how to pick a Realtor. They can be up to 4-5 hours in length depending on if you are going to give Bond credit.

Hope this helps. feel free to cal me if you have any questions.

First off you need a Mortgage Broker or a Loan Originator to explain what it may take for a first time homeowner to get a loan...such as credit scores, job history, rent history down payment and zero down options...without that your wasting alot of time...like showing houses without a pre-approval...

Thanks to all who responded.  I have already teamed up with a terriffic lender, and he has his own presentation, I'm just trying to figure out what I need to cover as an agent, so I don't forget and leave anything out.

Thanks again Jeff, John and Chuck!

Work with a local mortgage and team up. If you can get them pre-approved while they are there, the prospect will be your client forever!
