When the phone rings and someone says….I found you on the internet – as a Real Estate Agent: the first thing that comes to my mind is someone's considering buying or selling a home. Other calls come from people and companies selling their services or wares but Monday I had a precious first –
The phone rang – I answered and a voice on the other end said, “Hi this is Jose. You’re on the Internet?” he asked. “Yes Jose”….I said (as a background conversation sparked up in Spanish between Jose and a woman on his end of the line. Then Jose returned to the phone conversation and said….“I’ll call you back.”
A few minutes later the phone rang (same caller id #). I answered and heard, “Hi this is Jose again”….I greeted him and asked what area they live and if they were looking for a home. Jose said they weren’t looking for a home adding in a sincerely matter-of-fact tone….”I want you to make me famous” (pause) - that was me as he explained that he sings and someone told him the day before he should find an “Agent” Well There You Go!
After a brief conversation about Talent Agents, I wished Jose my best without even asking for a few bars, dang! Oh but I do have his #
So if someone you know is in the market for a singer….or casting for singers in the Seattle/Tacoma area in the near future….I’d be happy to relay the info to Jose – Love Life! J
It was the Best Craig! so totally sweet! he knows what he wants and isn't afraid to ask for it! I'd love for him to becomes famous - that would make my day! and your vote of confidence is quite the day maker! especially knowing that you've got talent & are a talented Agent!!!! Not sure that can be topped.
Hi Teresa, Well, I bet that you broke Jose's heart when you told him that you wouldn't be his agent. And then you didn't even ask him to sing for you? Now what kind of agent are you? LOL We get the funniest calls, don't we? Gotta love this crazy business we are in!
Sandy - I would have loved to have heard him sing! (what was I thinking?) guess that will prepare me for the unexpected....yes quite a biz we're in. Always good to see your smile!
