This is really exciting to me and I just had to share it with you all here in AR because I think this is a great tool that has always been there but never really thought about as a marketing tool! In less than 3 weeks I had picked up a listing without doing anything extra in my day's agenda! Read on and tell me what you think!!!!

We all pay bills so why not market as we pay? I have created Real Estate personal checks that have actually worked out great for me! Not only does the background reflect our career in Real Estate; it is for Realtors! Plus I have added on the extra lines above my signature area " For a free home market analysis, please call xxx-xxxx." I know what you are thinking, not all of our bills go to local offices.

Well just 2 weeks ago I had received a call from a Man in Utah. He has a property in my location and he has a tenant living in it currently. The tenant informed him that him and his wife are expecting their first child and they will be moving because they will be needing a bigger home. Because of his distance, he does not want to bother looking for another tenant so he and his wife decided to go ahead and sell the home.  I asked him if  who refereed me (I like to know where I get the leads so I know what marketing is working) He told me that his wife works for a credit card company. She had seen my Real Estate information on my personal check and wrote it down and gave it to her husband to call me.

 I got the information about the home, did the CMA and faxed it to him the next morning. He liked what we had discussed over the phone so I faxed over the contract and other documents and by that evening I had listed his waterfront property for sale!

I wanted to share this with you because I thought it was great that I was able to pick up a listing because of my personal check!
