That's a beautiful sunset.  Nothing like sitting and watching the sun go down over the ocean.

Hi Sandy, thats a long walk to the end of the pier.  Probably be to tired to walk back and would have to rest long enough to see the sunset.

Thanks for the picture

That's absolutely gorgeous, Sandy.  I could sit there for hours (sunup to sundown).  I wouldn't want to miss a minute.

Nice photo Sandy, That's one of the best sunsets I have seen in a long time. I hope you were sharing it with someone special.

Sandy, looks like a sunrise shot to me.  Melbourne Beach just south of the Eau Galle Causeway?

Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous!!  Sandy, I love this sunrise, and the pier -- what a beautiful walk to remember, and you've captured the beauty of your area perfectly.

Sandy -- Beautiful picture from a beautiful area. I love it down in Melbourne.  Wish I was down there now.  It's been very cold (for me!) here in CT.

Sandy, this is a fantastic photo. The walk down the pier is worth the view.

You've captured another great shot. I feel a sense of relaxation just looking at it. Watching the sun set over the water is one of my favorite things to do.

By the way- I mentioned you in my post today- the outdated picture post was referenced.

Looks like a great spot to start or end the day ... just you and your thoughts and a dramatic horizon where water meets sky.

Sandy - You are in a gorgeous part of the earth that provides many delightful sunsets.  I'd love to walk out to the end of that pier, and just sit for awhile.  Wonderful shot!

Hello Sandy, that is truly an inviting scene.  I think our group here may overload this pier as we gather at the end and bask in the last light of the day!  John

Russ, We are so blessed here to have such gorgeous sunsets. This picture was actually taken in South Melbourne Beach and it is overlooking the Indian River Lagoon.  In this location we get to see our sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean and it sets over the River. It's truly the best of both worlds. It's so pretty in this area.

Bill, This would be well worth the walk to the end of the pier, which is exactly what we did. We rested until we could no longer see it, just like you mentioned. It was gorgeous.

Norma, I took so many pictures on this particular afternoon.  All turned out equally as beautiful.

Heather, I'm with you!  You know that 2 are never the same, ever!

I Net, Well actually, I shared this sunset with buyers that were looking to purchase a home here in Melbourne Beach, They were from Louisiana. They were mesmerized.

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin...Now you must know this area quite well-incredible!  Great job! You are correct - this was taken in South Melbourne Beach, south of the Eau Gallie Causeway, overlooking the Indian River. We were looking to the West, this was a sunset.

Mary, Isn't this a beautiful shot!  It doesn't get any better than this!

Barbara, Melbourne is a beautiful place. The weather here has been gorgeous -we can feel that Fall is in the air. I hate to hear that it's cold up there.

Hi Paul, So glad that you enjoy it. This is such a beautiful location. This is actually at the end of a street of about 12 exquisite homes that are across the street from the beach.
