- Complete your profile all the way. Add your picture. Put in your hobbies on "About You". Consumers like to see that you are a real person like them
- Be true to your business practice and ethics. It will show if you are conscientious and professional
- Consider your audience and make your conversations geared towards the industry you are promoting. You might hit on personal subjects sometimes, but go back to your business
- Don't overpromote and come off as a "know it all" . Post engaging content that helps people interact with you
- Socialize your site and put a link where visitors can "join" or come back to your site on their own
- If you are on a strictly social site , add your business page as a link. If all you talk about is work your friends may think you are always trying to sell them something and avoid you!
