On October 25th in Lisbon, CT there will be a Walk for Farm Animals. The walk is to raise both funds and awareness about the Farm Sanctuary. The Farm Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and provides care for farm animals as well as educates the public about the farm industry.
This will be the first walk I've ever participated in. Over the years I have donated to charitable groups who help animals and adopted many companion animals. I think it will be a nice combination of some of my favorite (non-real estate related) things: spending time outdoors, walking and animals.
If you or someone you know cares about saving animals please consider joining the walk or making a donation. I also urge anyone in the area to come by and support the teams and individuals who will be out walking.
