Seattle RainCamp Almost Sold Out!

Who announces a conference 16 days before the event? Of all ideas, that has to be one of the dumbest. Right?

We were told that it would be nearly impossible to generate enough interest in such a short time, and we'd be presenting to an empty house. Well perhaps it was dumb, but we did it anyways, and I'm pleased to announced that the event is just about sold out!

I knew this would get a ton of interest! I'm looking forward to you heading to the Southeast.

Oh yeah! I am in and I will see you there in a few days. I talked my friend, Chris Galyon, into coming along. He signed up today.

Please, please, please give us more than 16 days notice when you're planning to come to Dallas!

Lorrie, Yes! Future events will surely have much more notice. We are already planning the next batch of cities - and Dallas is on the list!

I am so excited for this! I even had a dream the other night about the event! How crazy is that! I hope it isn't raining that day - I am taking the ferry and walking on down to the venue! but of course it would be cool to have rain at rain camp! lol!

Wish I could be there, Jon. Actually I don't think it's dumb at all. Agents typically wait until the nth hour to sign up for this sort of thing, especially in this market, and the limited time probably generated MORE excitement. And of course the sponsor and the topic had to be a major call to action. What could be better? An AR Real Estate Bar Camp!!

Can you share the complete list of planned cities for RainCamp? Come to the Mid-Atlantic Region. Delaware is surrounded by all the most populated states on the East Coast!

I will pester Jon to get a Calendar of dates and locations put together to post asap. It's obvious that many of our members are excited and wanting RainCamp to come to your areas. We're excited about it too.

Like others have said, you all need to branch out to the rest of the country! I am voting for the Southeast!

I can definitely make Atlanta.......that's just a short road trip for me.

When do you plan on taking it to other areas of the country? I want to go? You should come to the other High Tech area, northern California.

What a list! However, if you did have some camps scheduled in advance, then some of us folks in areas like Oklahgoma would want to attend. I love Seattle, and I would get more referrals from distant places. Congrats on your success.

Hi John, It's Ted Canto from Phoenix. We've never had the chance to chat but I'm sure you've heard about us from Bob & Brad. Thanks for supporting our idea of kind of a mini Rain Camp in AZ. It had a great attendance (470 Agents). We look forward to the opportunity of having the Rain Camp come here sometime next year. Know that we are promoting AR as a must tool to every agent that we speak to. We tell them if they are not in AR, they are walking into a gun fight with a knife. Congrats on Rain Camp's success. Keep all of us posted on the end results.

What cities are on the short list? Any in northern California? Like San Francisco? San Jose?

Jonathan - Please do another one in the Seattle area with more notice so that I can get a decent deal on a plane ticket! February would be an awesome time to get out of Alaska for a day or two.
