23 Comments on Are They Out Of Their GOURDS!?!
Hi Lisa - Yea, I've never been able to grow anything like these. Bet the kids loved helping out in your organic garden. When Brandon was little he loved being out with us and picking and eating cherry tomatoes and green beans right from the garden.
You have to love fall. Its so colorful this time of year.
You're so right John. The weather is cool and the colors are warm. Have a great weekend!
Great fall photo, but it is still hot in Florida but the photo makes you think it is cool.
Hot is the only season you have in Florida. Just kidding :) I did miss the change of seasons growing up in Homestead, FL, and now I miss the beaches.
Lee and Carol,
I thought so. Nice falll collection of various colors and sizes. :)

Hi Lee and Carol,
What a gorgeous group of gourds that is.
Lee and Carol - Really nice picture. . .So indicative of the current season!
Who put those together. Whomever it was - great eye.
Hi Steve - I like all the colors and different shapes too.
Hi Crystal - They are a good looking group aren't they.
Hi Myrl - I thought the picture would make a great fall postcard to send out too.
Hi Jane - It wasn't me that arranged this lively group. They were just hangin out like that when we got there :)
Hello Lee and Carol, that's an awesome collection! We only have about 4 types this from our garden - 2 Zuchinni types, a knotty gourd and a smooth yellow squash. Thanks! John
We didn't have much luck with any in our garden this year. I did have a mutant gnarly squash that I'm trying to dry for my gourd collection.
Hi Lee & Carol, love your colorful photo, you have some of my favorite colors in that veggie display! Sorry to hear about your garden, I'm sure next year it will be great :)
Thanks Cynthia - Green and orange hues are my favorite colors too. We hope the garden will do better next year. We just started the compost this year so we'll have lots more to add in next years crop.
Ah yes, it's nice to be reminded that fall is in the air. I really like those weird nubby gourds that come out at this time of year.
Hi Georgina - My favorite time of year! Do you decorate for Fall in the Islands?
What a great picture! All those are yours? I thought you visited a farm stand! I love Fall, it's my favorite time of year!
Hi Sharon - I wish those were mine! They were from a farm stand over in Tennessee.
What a beautiful fall picture! Thanks.
Thanks Irene. Glad you liked it and hope you are enjoying this great Fall weather.
