Hi All,
This marks my 99th post here on Active Rain. 99 posts in 80 days. Whew! No wonder I am tired :-) And that only includes the posts that have appeared here, not the ones that were created solely for Route66Living.com. Nor does it include the hundreds of comments I have made, most of which could be posts in and of themselves, (just ask ARDELL :-). And while this is an achievement, and it feels like one to be sure, I am not the first to get here, and at the rate that AR is growing I won't be anywhere near the last.
99 posts that have run the gamut from fun and frivolous, to ranting and raving with a little bit of actual information thrown in for good measure. Tonight, I took a few moments, well, actually more than a few and went cruising through posts past and I re-read some of them.
I don't know if this happens to you, but it frequently happens to me, I forget what I have written, and at this point, that can be a dangerous thing because with the pace I have set for myself, I seriously run the risk of repeating myself.
But what is more interesting to me than what I have written is what others have written to me. I re-read the comments from the very first blog post I made on any site anywhere, ever, which welcomed me, encouraged me and made me realize that I had found a group of colleagues to share with, professionals to learn from and friends to laugh with. As I skimmed other posts (but mostly the comments) I saw the names of folks that were once unknown and have now become familiar and who I look forward to seeing each and every time they appear. And mostly I marveled at how much has changed in so little time.
When I woke up on March 30, 2007 I had no way of knowing that in less than 24 hours my entire world would change. I had no idea that the focus of my business marketing efforts would be revolutionized. I had no thoughts of the people I would meet, the things I would learn or the opportunities that I would be given to share with others.
99 blog posts ago I had no real clue what I had found and 99 blog posts ago I had no idea what I was missing. But now that I know, I can't believe how fortunate I was to find what I have, when I have. And I can't fully express how grateful I am to each and every one of you who have encouraged me from the first and encourage me still.
I joined Active Rain for me initially, but now I write for you. And I will always be so grateful, so unbelievably grateful that I am allowed to.
Take care all, help lots of people and have a wonderful day!
Tisza
