Palin book tops Amazon pre-order lists

Sarah Palin's book - due out on November 17 - is already top of the charts at both Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com.

In fact "Going Rogue is beating out the likes of Ted Kennedy's "True Compass," Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol," his first novel since "The Da Vinci Code" and Glenn Beck's "Arguing With Idiots" (side bar - does anyone have a problem with the NY Times not reviewing Beck's books? This is his THIRD NY Times #1 bestseller and the paper has never reviewed any of his books).

A massive 1.5 million copies of the former Alaskan Governor's book will be printed and a second print run is already on the cards with the pre-orders looking so strong.

I have no doubt whatsoever that there are people waiting to tear it apart - but that's simply Liberal Elitism and jealousy. "How can she get a book deal?", says one, but perhaps my favorite is this one: "

She is subject to severe mood swings and that combined with a rifle can only lead to a crazy women with a gun. She is subject to temper tantrums when she does not get what she wants. Yes she is good for the NRA and etc. She is not very smart upstairs and needs a body makeover."

A body makeover? Really? Maybe someone needs to visit the eye doctor!

Anyway, you can pre-order Sarah Palin's book at the two above mentioned websites or if you like coffee with your books, then just step right in to a bookstore and do it there. Not enough people go into book stores anymore.

I think there is a part of Sarah Palin that liberals fear - her speaking what many want to but will not say! When there is nothing else to criticize many just resort to personal attack. I can't wait to hear the progressive response!

Congrats to Sarah, a beautiful, gregarious, intelligent leader who's common sense would be invaluable in the halls of Washington at this time.

Simon - Don Imus just chimed in calling Sarah Palin a "dope". What do these people think a "dope" can be a governor of one of the largest states in America. She has more executive experience than the current president of the United States.

Sarah Palin definitely comes across as your everyday person. Not like the career politicians in Washington.

Simon. I admire Sarah Palin for her honesty, and speaking her mind. She had very high ratings as Gov in her home state until she was thrust into the national spotlight.

She fended off more ethics violations than anyone I ever heard of just because she was in that National Spotlight. I will buy her book and love to meet her at a book signing.

Sarah Palin is someone that MOST of us can relate to...This is good. We need TRUE AMERICANS runnin our Country. And yes, Hugh, you are right... they can say what they want... but she gets to them because She is a good upstanding person who can DO THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE... I cant wait to see what happens next.

They hate her simply because she has a connection with the American people that they simply cannot understand.

I cant wait to go in and get my copy in person. Plain is the only one with the balls to reverse what obama is doing to us.

I too love Sarah. The attacks on her person and family were unwarranted. If anyone had attacked a democrat the way they went after her they would have been villified.

I would love to see her back on the national stage. I dislike what McCain allowed his staffers to do to her.

I just love it when a liberial feels threatened, they will do anything to destroy. I hope Palin keeps speaking her mind, that is enough to just drive them (the liberals) nuts.

ARGH!!! I just saw Michael Moore on TV... I cant stand that guy! Hes so sloppy and dirty and nasty and ignorant! AND some people watch his MOVIES which are not real and made for entertainment... and they praise them and think they are real... ITS A MOVIE!!!!!! He's doggin' capitalism and all the while he's takin your money... and they don't see that.. Ha!

We Must Win in Afghanistan Yesterday at 4:57pm

For two years as a candidate, Senator Obama called for more resources for the war in Afghanistan and warned about the consequences of failure. As President, he announced a comprehensive new counterinsurgency strategy and handpicked the right general to execute it. Now General McChrystal is asking for additional troops to implement the strategy announced by President Obama in March. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers in harm's way in Afghanistan right now. We owe it to all those brave Americans serving in uniform to give them the tools they need to complete their mission.

We can win in Afghanistan by helping the Afghans build a stable representative state able to defend itself. And we must do what it takes to prevail. The stakes are very high. The 9/11 attacks were planned in Afghanistan, and if we are not successful there, al Qaeda will once again find a safe haven, the Taliban will impose its cruelty on the Afghan people, and Pakistan will be less stable.

Our allies and our adversaries are watching to see if we have the staying power to protect our interests in Afghanistan. I recently joined a group of Americans in urging President Obama to devote the resources necessary in Afghanistan and pledged to support him if he made the right decision. Now is not the time for cold feet, second thoughts, or indecision -- it is the time to act as commander-in-chief and approve the troops so clearly needed in Afghanistan.

Simon- I Adore, Love, Respect Sarah Palin. I don't think the GOP or the DEMS knew what kind of sleeping giant she would help to awaken and what power of the regular folks would attract so many people to her. She is smart, a wife, a mother- reminds me of me:) A lot of woman I know relate to her. What a cleaning of the white house we would get with her there. The good old boys can not stand her on both sides of the isle because she threatens their cushy status quo. Go Sarah! I will buy her book to help her get rich! Go Capitalism! Katerina
