Humpback photo

Hawaii's Humpback whales are gone but will be returning early next year.  This one continued to slap his tail on the water for about 5 minutes.

Aloha!

Wow Richard that is a great picture.  Were you in a boat and if so how close were you?

Thanks for sharing that great picture Richard.  I have a question for you; I have clients who want to move to Hawaii.  She is from New Zealand and he is from Southern California.  Do I work with them on this end to identify which island before seeking a referral partner or do Hawaiian Realtors work all the islands?

Vic's question is a good one... had not thought about this, having never been to Hawaii... man,now that I think about that statement... I want to visit Hawaii!

So do you jump in a boat to show properties on different islands or is your territory defined by the ocean?

Sharon- This particular one was pretty far off, maybe half a football field.  Another on the same trip surfaced right beside our boat and the captain was in a panic thinking we were going to hit him.  We didn't but could have reached out and touched him.

Vic- Most agents only work one island.  I'm the only one I know who has established homes on both Kauai and Maui with detailed knowledge of both.  That is made possible by having homes on both islands and commuting between the two.  I would be delighted to assist with a referral to either of those islands and can give you a great recommendation for Oahu.  The Big Island has issues due to the active volcano and I don't recommend that one.

Judi- Travel between the islands is via jet service with the trip taking only 1/2 hour.  There are no ferries between the islands after protestors were successful in stopping that service.  I've been commuting between 2 of the islands for nearly 2 years now and love the regular change.  Why not book a flight and come on over while business is slow?
