What is Your Freedom Worth?

If you have read my blogs, you probably know that many of my clients are military relocations due to my proximity to Camp LeJeune and New River Air Station in Jacksonville, N C. As I have stated here before, my respect for these military families is enormous. I cannot even begin to imagine the sacrifices they make and this is not just the serviceman (woman) but the entire family.

With the conflicts our country is battling in the Middle East, many of our servicemen (women) are returning home injured and/or disabled. Unfortunately and to my utter disbelief, dismay and embarrassment, these families are not receiving the support they need and deserve. Read this story about one family's struggle for help.

One of my clients, a young Marine named Matthew Coon has established a organization to help wounded warriors as he refers to them. What is your freedom worth?

We can never repay these brave men and women who protect our country--there is no price for freedom.

I am so proud of Matthew for his courage and dedication, I hope it he getting a good response to his website.

The post is great, but might should have been saved for 4th of July? Nah, our heroes deserve praise ever day.

The price of freedom is way too expensive, unmeasurable in human life and limbs lost and it is a shame that we cannot give more to these people. As a veteran, I'am ashamed that this goes on. As the comment above states, every day should be for our heroes, not just holidays. Sometimes I just wonder what this world would be like if we kept our nose out of other peoples affairs, I guess I will never know. Cynthia, you are to be commended for the work that you can do in your area!!
