Just a quick explanation- These pictures were taken at Lake Murray in Lexington, SC the day of the Lake Murray Dam Swim. My wife and several members of her swim team swam in the event and everyone finished. The event was a lot of fun and helped raise money for a great cause. Myself and a client were there to support our swimmers and cheer everyone on.

Steve- That's a great way to put it.
Marcia- The water wasn't cold at all. It will likely be late November before the water is too cold to swim in.
Sharon- My wife coaches the swim team that she came to participate with, so I am like a team parent or something these days.
Cynthia- It is a soothing place, and the water was very calm that morning as well.
Charles- It does look chilly in the photo, but it was actually in the 80's that day.
Marianne- It's a great place to take a walk.

John- Believe it or not, it wasn't cold, but it will be getting colder soon I'm sure.
Sounds like a great event, JL. How wonderful of your wife and her friends to participate. Way to go. On a more shallower note: I like when the fog hangs over the water. It looks like floating cotton.
Heather- They were very happy to be able to participate, as for the shallow note, it does.
Not only does it look cloudy, but it looks chilly, and sultry at the same time!
It really looks like a place that I would enjoy visiting.
