Milford DO-IT presents the 20th Annual Great Pumpkin Festival on October 9, 10 and 11 in an around the beautiful Milford Oval.
This festival brings together the Milford community as well as neighbors from Amherst, Mont Vernon, Nashua, Brookline, Hollis and other nearby towns.
You will experience a sense of Community and come to know how that makes a difference in our lives and surrounding towns.

Talent Show -- 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10th. The Milford Pumpkin Festival Talent Show 2009- with $500 for 1st place, $200 runner up, $100 for audience choice - takes place at the Amato Family Performing Arts Center $ 7.00 adults, $5 kids 12 and under. Friday - Kick off - Here is a partial list of events (Click For Friday Pumpkin Festival Activities/Schedule)
- Festival opens at 5:00 p.m. at the Milford Oval. The Festival Bootique will have new festival T-shirts on Sale. There will be a 50/50 raffle, a pie booth, music and magic.
- Pumpkin Trail- Open all three days. The pumpkin trail is the Mayflower Hill Forest Trail which is being presented by the Milford Middle School Enrichment Program.
- A BBQ pork dinner and BOOtique is available from 5p.m. -7p.m. at the First Congregational Church at 10 Union Street. ($8/person; $6 kids and seniors).
- 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Oval - Opening ceremonies and announcement of Citizen of the Year! Pumpkin Runner and downtown lighting at 6:30.
- 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. - Bigger kids (5years and older w/adult) will want to visit the Haunted Trail at Emerson Park. Cost $5
- At the oval - 5:30 p.m. PB & Jammin, Jazz Ensemble, a group of musicians and students performing a mixture of Jazz, Pop and specially arranged Big Band
- At the oval - 7:00p.m. - 9:00 Fred Simmons and the Folk Soul Band.
- 8:00 p.m. - The Amato Center at the Boys and Girls Club is the venue for movies. 8:00 p.m. The Nightmare Before Christmas 10:00 p.m. Young Frankinstein. 8:00 War of the Worlds. Cost $8 adults $5 kids (12 and under).

- 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Walking tour led by the Historical Society.

- 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Milford Farmer's Market
- 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Pumpkin Catapult (this is really fun!) - TD Bank North Lower Parking Lot
- 10:00 a.m. - 1 p.m. Pumpkin Carving demonstrations - at the Oval
- 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Fire and Ambulance open house- School Street and Middle Street
- 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Scarecrow making, face painting, pumpkin painting, music,DO IT dogs, and meet the sponsors at the Community House Lawn(corner Union and Elm.
- 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Arts and Crafts - Town Hall Auditorium
- 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Harvest Pantry- Unitarian Church - Elm Street
- 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Wadleigh Library - puppet performances with Fred Reidy, make and take crafts and more.
- 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Train rides and much more for kids at the Boys and Girls Club.
- 11:00 a.m. Tyler Performs Magic at the Boys and Girls Club
- 11:00 - 3:00 p.m. Story Telling at Emerson Park - in the tent every half hour
- 12:00 p.m. Pumpkin Weigh In - at the Oval

- 10:00 a.m. 5K & 10 K races start at the Milford High school to benefit the track fund
- 10:00 a.m. Amherst Yoga - oval stage
- 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Arts and Crafts Show
- 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Pumpkin painting ($5), Face Painting ($1), Scarecrow making ($15) at the Community House Lawn

Directions and Parking for Festival
In 1997, the DO-IT organization, with full support of the community, applied to become a part of the NH Main Street Center and Milford was accepted as one of the first three inaugural programs in the state. In 2002, Milford was honored by the National Trust For Historic Preservation's Main Street Center with their Great American Main Street Award
