I love this term,"Gorgeously Bland"...I heard it this morning and realized the words alone pack a lot of punch!
Here is a great question for you to ask yourself...
If you changed the name of your company on your web site to that of your biggest competitor would anyone really notice? Do you share their language? When you write in media-speak you do not differentiate your company from anybody else. You are marketing yourself in the same way as everyone else, if that is true then you are trying hard to be average!
Your website should be content rich and easy to navigate. When you have a website that is picture rich and word poor chances are you are not getting the exposure you need to drive traffic to your website. Although images are wonderful and people love to see them, most will base their choice on the content on your website. Even more than that Google doesn't care about your pictures when ranking your website in the search engines. Describing what you do and how you do it will have a much greater impact not only on your clients but traffic to your website. You can achieve all the things by offering the potential client generous amounts of information on your website. Potential new clients are looking for information, something to make them more interested in your company and they need something to make them be reassured of, and desirous for, your services. So let them know what DOES set you apart.
There are many different ways a home stager can give a detailed description of things we do to change the look of a home for sale in the real estate market. Write them down, your potential client will love hearing all your ideas and so will you when Google starts ranking you high in the search engines!
Here's to a successful and prosperous week for all of us!
