I agree, Miranda. I did the same thing with a recent offer and we got the contract. However, the other buyer also did not include their pre-approval but I do not know if the offers were the same. It never hurts.
Shrewed thinking on your part. I think that there are still people out there who want their deals personalized.
Miranda, I wouldn't discount the value of personalizing your clients offer, for a second. We were given preference in the purchase of a ranch property 20 years ago. The Seller may the decision to sell to us even though the other offer was stronger. I agree with Larry this still goes on today.
Miranda, Great idea. You personalized it and made a difference. When I'm going out on a listing appointment, and I know I'm one of many, I send a small floral arrangement afterward thanking the potential client for meeting with me. It's just another way of standing out.
Thanks for sharing that tip. I've always believed people want to do business with people. As much as we all want to try to remain impartial and unemotional, it is often the emotional tug that can tip the scales.
