The Walk by Faith Inaugural 5K Race Walk is in honor of Addison Faith Bender, a little angel who spent too short a time on this earth.  Addi was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, AT/RT for short, when she was 6 months old.  This is a type of brain cancer.  It ultimately won.

Addi's Faith Foundation, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to ending childhood cancer.  They have an extensive website and outstanding community support.  Addi's grandmother, Tee Bender, is a friend of mine.  Her family is working hard to create something wonderful in Addi's memory.  This is the inaugural year for the Walk by Faith 5K Race Walk.  If you can't walk - volunteer to help at the walk.  Or help with a donation.
