picket fenceGet off the Fence, Part 2:

The tax credit of up to $8000.00 is expiring November 30th.  Millions of other first time home buyers have taken advantage, its time for you to find that home and get it under contract. Stop waiting for prices to go down, homes probably will not go down signficantly to offset not taking advantage of the tax credit.

Check with your mortgage person and get your paperwork in order, so that if you find that perfect first home you are ready!  One of our favorite mortgage people is Jay Gilmore with WR Starkey,

Amy, If buyers don't hurry they may be real disappointed if they can't close on time.  We are really seeing a surge in activity here in the Detroit metro area.

Howdy there Amy

I think some First Time Home Buyers, just might be waiten because of some folks have been written about there could be a whole new incentive coming up. But I hear that Mr. Obama, said he would not sign any new bill for a new Home Buying Tax Incentive. Folks sure do need to get out there to find the home they want.
