I just love discovering local talent and posting about it.

We all live in communities that are special to us or at least they should be special if you call them your home. Sometimes it takes going out and exploring your community to discover what makes it special or maybe getting involved in town events. If you look you'll find it!

Kingston NH, while not my home town is a town I like very much. I've written about Kingston and I also did a virtual tour of Kingston last fall that you can see by clicking on the take the tour tab.

Kingston is a lovely small NH town rich in history and rich in people...after all it is not the towns themselves that make a community a special place, but the people that make a community special.

Thank you so much Chris. I think Kathy's words and her Art really speaks volumes about her town of Kingston and NH in general as most of her photos are local shots.

Hi Monika - what a really nice post to show off this local artist.  She has a wonderful eye and her pictures area beautiful.  I love the cardinal picture - reminds me of all the cardinals I have year-round in my own yard.  The white barn with the snow is so perfectly New England, isn't it?  Very nice post!  Love the Kingston tour, too.

Monika, I stared at that first picture for a long time trying to figure out what it was.  Thank goodness it's lovely and I enjoyed the staring.  I still couldn't figure it out!  What wonderful talent.  Thanks for sharing this with us.
