The Minnesota Twins are headed for the playoffs.  In a hard, excitement filled tense game, The Minnesota Twins outscore the Detroit Tigers 6 to 5 in 12 innings. 

This was a one game, winner take all tie breaker, and the Twins who were counted out as Dead for the season 3 weeks ago, come back to win the A.L. Central Division.

NO rest for the Twins...as the first playioff game is in New York against the Yankees.  6:05 eastern time start.  The Twins have had trouble with the extra tallented Yankees, but...Who doesn't like an Underdog!

For tonight...we enjoy the victory for tomorrow a new battle begins.

Yes- This is very cool, as a Minnesotan myself!

Now of course we have to face the Yankee's and the the Twins have beaten the Yankee's exactly ZERO times this year.... Argh..

That was one of the most exciting games I've seen in recent memory.  As a Tiger fan, I am disappointed with how the season ended, but I do congratulate the Twins for their magnificant play in the final weeks of the season.  I'll be cheering for the Twins as they do their best to knockoff the Yankees.

Tom...Detroit did a complete meltdown the last few weeks.  Well, they beat the Twins last year in the same scenerio.
