If you support the belief of the sanctity of human life, please join us on Thursday, November, 5, 2009 at the Heathman Lodge. The address for the Heathman is 7801 NE Greenwood Drive, Vancouver, WA right near Westfield Shopping Center.

This annual Fall Banquet supports the awesome little clinic in Camas called the Camas Washougal Community Pregnancy Clinic.
You can look forward to a wonderful evening surrounded by friends who all support the sanctity of human life. You will be inspired by the moving testimonials and delightful guest speaker.

There are several ways you can support their fall fundraising banquet.

1. You can Sponsor a table for 10 people. Provide a check of $350. to this address: PO Box 1036, Camas, WA 98607 (See number two below.)

2. You can call the clinic and tell them you'd like to be a table host. There is no charge to host a table! You can be the host and invite 9 of your friends to join you at your table. There are many generous people who PAY for a table because they just care about babies so much they want others to hear the message too. Call the Clinic at (360) 834-7256 and tell them you'd like to host a table! (Please let your friends know ahead of time there will be an "ask." Any donation of any amount is appreciated to keep this awesome clinic in business and helping little children grow up!)

3. You can attend the Fall Banquet as a guest! (I have a great time EVERY YEAR! It's a great event.)

The Heathman Lodge is very classy. I love as you walk in the door there is a huge stone fireplace. We often meet friends before the banquet or after the banquet and sit by the fire. You can order a drink there too.

The food at the Heathman Lodge is delicious. For this Fall Banquet you have your choice of: 1. Goat cheese and Forest Mushroom Stuffed Chicken. 2. Grilled Salmon over Creamy Mascarpone Polenta. 3. Grilled Flat Iron Steak. 4. Vegetarian Chefs Choice.

I support local efforts here in Texas. All of my efforts go towards our vets. That is my passion.

Jill: This sounds like a wonderful idea. Since you are so much a believer in the sanctity of life, will you also be having a Banquet to support the repealing of the death penalty ? Also... another great idea would be a Banquet to promote the idea of being against all forms of war... which, of course, does not support the sanctity of life. Sounds like some great ideas. Good luck with them !

Repealing the death penalty. I'm stunned right now. Value of life? What is life to you?

If your baby, your little child was brutally raped, sodomized, burned with cigarettes, forced to commit sex acts, drugged, bound, beaten on, treated like a 5 year old whore ................need I say more.

I don't think any freak that does that to a child deserves to live.

I fully support the death penalty in all cases of child abuse.

@ Melissa: I think the things you describe are absolutely horrible. And, of course, if it were my baby, I would not be human if I didn't want revenge. But... those ten thingies that Mr Moses brought down from the mountain were NOT called the Ten Suggestions. I think I remember them as being the Ten Commandments.

Be that as it may... I would think that this rapist, killer, whatever, would have a much tougher time of it serving LIFE in prison. Just think of all the fun times he would have in prison... once his fellow inmates found out he was a child rapist, molester and all.

Also... a major part of punishing criminals is for the punishment to also DETER others from committing the same horrible acts. Which would you think would be more of a deterrent ? Being executed... or spending the rest of your life living in total fear of being attacked by your fellow inmates ? In this case... executing this person would be giving him the "easy way out."

Good points, the problem is "the system" often lets them out anyways. Then they do it again. My cousin was raped and murdered by a repeat offender. The "system" had let him out.

Anyways, I do support this pro-life effort.
