Hello fellow Real Estate Professionals and homeowners in the area.

I have heard that tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th, all gift cards purchased at Lowes in Cromwell CT will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $5,000) with in-store Lowes credit.  The money that is generated from this will be used toward funding of homes that exist and future ones that are waiting to be built through the Habitat for Humanities.

With this I encourage you, your neighbors, your family, friends and along with clients to visit the Cromwell CT Lowes on October 8thbetween the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm, and support the families of Middlesex Habitat for Humanity.

If you are looking for more information on this, please please visit the website www.habitatmiddlesex.org. They are also looking for volunteers if you wish to become more involved.

Thank you for your support in advance!

Habitat does such a great jobs.  It is good to see how the business and community can make a difference in people's lives.

Joan...

Not only is Lowes doing it's part, but if the community goes and buys the gift cards, they are not only helping the Habitat for Humanity... but the economy at the same time.

It is always better to give than receive... right?

George... So, far they are.  Now let's see if there will be in the long run.  The sad thing about Lowes coming in, is that they will probably push out the last of the mom and pop hardware stores.

Susan.. Yes, this event was GREAT.  I put $700 onto a gift card knowing I wanted to get a new water heater.  I was going to charge it anyway.  This way Habitat for Humanity made out as well as I did on this.
