Looks delicious! I just had some sweet corn for dinner the other night. Enjoy it while we can, winter will be here soon.

There is nothing prettier than a platter of sweet yellow corn.  For one reason or another, we seem to have more white corn in the markets here in California.  It tastes good, but doesn't grab me like yellow corn does.

Hello Mike,  it's hard to not be conflicted at this point in the season, if we don't eat it now, it won't be here next week!  Yesterday we got down into the 30's!  John

Hello Myrl, we planted about 400' of the yellow corn this year and it is sure yummy!  Thanks!  John

PS - The Felida Farmer's secret for the Sweetest Corn at the Supper Table is to have the water boiling BEFORE you venture to the garden to pick the corn!  The sugars in sweet corn turn to starch very quickly and thus, you are truly in a race to capture as much sweetness as you can.  If you haven't tried this you are missing one of the finer, simple things available!

Hi Jim, I grew up with fresh corn from our garden every summer  -- can't be beat.  These guys came from our garden this year -- I've froze a few bags of it to extend our season a bit!  John
