So the first hour was Ben Kinney sharing 15 Tools for Geeks -( at Raincamp )- ok I haven't gone into detail on each site here - thats so you can go and check them all yourself :-) - you'll be glad you did - and ewwwwhhhhand ahhhhh over all the ones you've never heard of - yet! 

 

1.) runpee.com

2.) Photosynth.com

3.) Namechk.com

Searches 200 different sites to see if your user name is out there in the system

4.) Bing.com * adwords

5.) Facebook.com/ads

6.)X0bni.com   - xobni.com

7.) tr.im    - tracks how many people are clicking in from twitter/facebooks etc.

8.) su.pr

9.) mailchimp.com - organizes email campaigns - who's opened your mail etc.

10.) goldmail.com - video emails   eyejot.com

11.) awayfind.com - system that will give you a bounce back response - telling when you check email

12.)logotournament. Com

13.)99designs.com

14.) google.com/voice -

15.) and my personal favorite slydial.com  - shows up as a missed call and goes directly to voicemail (haha for those time you don't really want to talk to them but say you did~! :-)

John...Implementation is always th challenge isn't it?  I guess if you implement 1 percent you're that much a head~ :-)

Hi Liz,

thank you for sharing...love mailchimp.com (started using it for my newsletter last month & I have 3 new listings/buyers from it)  I converted from paper newsletter, staple, fold, stuff & lick envelope (YUCK) & even though I don't have all the email addresses yet, it is unbelievable.  implementing just one of these new ideas can change our worlds.
