What happened in Waco real estate in September? I'm glad you asked. As of October 6 there were 1,333 active listings and 268 sales pending. There were 199 homes sold between September 1 and October 1, 2009, compared to 231 in September 2008 when there were 1756 active listings. So it looks like inventory here in McLennan county is starting to go down. Days on the market has also gone down by almost 2 weeks, form 132 to 125.

Below $50,000 = 20 home sold

$50-$75,000 = 27 sold

$75-$100,00 = 34 sold

$100-$125,000 = 38 sold

$125-$150,000 = 28 sold

$150-$200,000 =28 sold

$200,000=$250,000 = 13 sold

$$250-$300,000 =7 sold

$300-400,000 = 11 sold

$400,000 + = 4 sold

Just for fun I also pulled up sold listings for other than residential.

In September there were 12 pieces of land, 3 farm and ranch properties, and one commercial listing sold.
