6 Comments on When We Were Kids
Sam, I was born right in the middle of that time period, and somehow I survived!
I often wonder HOW we survived thru allof that .Now thiings are oh so different(but not necessarily better)
I can relate to most of this. The only time we were in the house was if it was raining real hard. Kids today have very little imagination-- what a shame.
It is amazing we survive. I look back and everything I did was bad for me according to todays experts. I would not trade one minute of my childhood for all the video games in the world. Thanks for reminding me of that great time.
It is amazing to see so many fat and uncoordinated kids these days. They have no idea how to relate to what we did growing up. I wouldn't change a thing about my childhood days.
I received this email and was glad to see that you posted it. It is so true...
'With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'
