OMG. This is one time I'm not glad I stopped by to see you. I'm petrified of spiders. Don't know how I survived living in Florida.

It's not been a good year for spiders here either. I have encountered several black widows but I don't take the time to snap their pictures =)

Hi Carol, Joan Mirantz sent me over to look at your photos. Impressive, to say the least. This spider , is it poisonous? There is a way to tell by looking but I have forgotten how that works.

He's a whopper! This time of year in our area we see lots of big spiders spinning their webs and catching prey.

Yeah, their scary looking, but at least they're not harmful to humans. LOL Oh, and let's not forget the added benefit of having them help us out with those pesky mosquitoes. Man they do they get on my nerves. LOL
