Joan -- we are all enjoying the changing of the seasons.. at least until today when the wind hurled hundreds of acorns to the ground.. I had to wear a helmet! (lol).  Lovely photos.

Excellent idea - I love both of the shots.  Will you add a wintry one too?

Hi Joan - Nice juxtaposition showing the changing of the seasons. This would be a nice grouping with fall and winter shots.

Great colors!  These really should be framed and I agree with the others who suggested doing all the seasons!

Hi Joan, It seems that you are missed. OK, before I draw the same conclusion as the others, would you explain what these photos are of. One of these looks to be Cherry tree in Spring and the other a crabapple ( end of summer /beginning of Fall )? Hows that for a guess? Probably close but no cigar, right?

BTW, Welcome back. Besides, with all the picture posts I have run since I returned from Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, I miss your comments. You always brighten my day.

Hi Joni... I knew that if I waited patiently for long enough that you would show up here again... and I would be excited to have you back in The Rain!  :)

Lynda...I'm glad you enjoyed them! Thanks

Mike....it's a way to lull us until Winter white arrives

Hello Matt....you're one perseptive cat!

Thanks Cynthia....there are advantages to Season changes!

Hey Joan...one of the biggest pluses of our move was a scarcity of oaks! Those acorns are hard to rake!

Yhea Georgina...you got it! I will do a Winter pic depending on if I can wade through the snow.

Hi John.....I will do Winter and maybe the birds eating the fruit...they seem to love it!

Hi Kate...good to see you!

Jane....you flatterer you!

Thanks Sally....Nature's beauty brings out the best in all of us!

Sharon...are you going to do your usual Fall picture extravaganza?

Hello William my friend...I like your new Pic. It looks like a promo picture for "the man on the go"
The pics are of the same tree. One Spring the other this Fall. I think it's a Japanese Cherry?

Hi Steve!....you seem to be on a roll this year (I've been keeping track on Facebook)

Same to you Carole...I really am working on getting" back in the swing"

Have you finished your move??

I'm not sure what Fall extravaganza you mean.  I plan to rewrite and revamp my Halloween costume post and we have some Fall activities coming up that may provide some photo opportunities.

Oh, right.  I did a post on Cider Hill where I pick apples and eat donuts!  I also wrote about some haunting events in the area.  My series on costumes started today!

Joan

Very beautiful pictures; fall is here and winter is around the corner. The good thing is the spring flowers will be around the corner.
