Everything is beautiful but the gator.  It looks like a little one though but still dangerous

Jeremy, great photos but my favorite is the one you are using to identify yourself.  I would love to put myself, a rubber raft and a cold beer right in the middle of that peaceful pond.

WOW, Jeremy, what incredible and detailed shots! You are a true photographer. Love the composition of all of them. The water drops, the reflection -- even the scary spider! Great shots!

Great pictures, Jeremy.  I like the ones of the lilly pads and the dragonfly the best.

Jeremy,

The pics are amazing, what type of camera are you using?  I just love them!

Jim and Maria,  Thanks.

Russ, This alligator was on the small side.  There were several larger ones lurking in the lily pads.

Bill, My profile pic is the San Jacinto river.  Trust me, you don't want to raft in that river.  Gators, snakes, and large gars just beneath the surface.  I am with you on the beer.

Ralph, The gator was not scary.  It was only about 3 ft. long.  Now some of the larger ones you want to keep your distance.

Marney, Thanks.  My favorite is the water that collected on the lily pad just after an afternoon storm that rolled in off the gulf.

Sharon, Thanks.  My favorite pictures as well.

Melissa, I was using a Nikon D40 with a 200 mm lense coupled with a 1.5 magnifying lense.  With the magnifying lense everything has to be shot using manual settings.

Yvette and Dennis, Here is one of my favorite Dragonfly pics. Wordless Friday | Just Wingin It

Robert, The lily pad is definitely my favorite.  When taking these photos I got stuck underneath a metal shed during a thunderstorm in the middle of the park.  When the rain passed, I thought is was awesome how the rain water beaded up on the lily pads.

Lora, Thanks for the kind comments.  Still working at the craft.

Rita, No problem. The best part with taking photos is sharing the photos.

Kevin, You would think that that the lily pad had been scotchgaurded.

Dan, Thanks for the comment.
