On the road...One of the thing Atlanta is famous infamous for is traffic...  We have some of the heaviest traffic in the country.  Not only are commutes long, but the roads are clogged.  Most other major metro areas have limits to their growth, while Atlanta has a LONG way to go before it hits oceans or mountains.

Recently I ran across a transportation study from the Georgia Governor.  It is called IT3, Investing in Tomorrow's Transportation Today.  They are asking for opinions from area residents.  So... let's give them some input...

Here is the link to the input form

It is pretty easy to participate and have a voice in the decisions.

You know how bad that traffic is between my home and my office! Wait, I'm thinking of someone else.

Don't talk to me about traffic :-)  DC is one of the most congested in the nation.  And yet we keep building more roads and fighting over whether we should expand our metro system.  Do you think?  DUH!

Yes, traffic there is noticeable, especially when you are in town from the mountains of Western North Carolina.

I lived in DC for 10 years, so I know traffic.  But at least people will take the metro!  here in atlanta everyone is afraid to take MARTA because it is not safe and oh yeah.....  it doest go anywhere!!! We are decades away from just people having an open mind to public transportation.
